Film screening and panel discussion

This film documents the late Professor Lucie Cheng, UCLA faculty member and longtime Director of the UCLA Asian American Studies Center, and also a pioneering scholar of migration, labor and gender. Winner of Taiwan's prestigious 2012 Golden Harvest Award for Best Documentary, Linking Our Lives,portrays her unfettered spirit and remembers her legacy at UCLA. Screening to be followed by a panel discussion. The filmmaker, Diane Ying, will make a special appearance.
